Not my usual type of video but I have been looking for a large bird house for a while now for my 2 rescue canaries. I dont like the word ‘cage’ too much, but these little guys need a nice spacious home to live in. I figured it was just easier to make one myself to the exact size I wanted. I am not a builder and only had VERY basic tools! Its not perfect but Im happy with it. The birdhouse now has a bath and a lot more different sized perches to exercise their feet and a different lock for the door. I forgot to mention in the video- but make sure to WASH the entire thing thoroughly before introducing your birds into the cage. The wire mesh needs to be washed very well and make sure your birds nails are trimmed regularly.
